Famous physicist - from Archimedes to Einstein
From yesterday to today: How did physics change our lives? physics is the study of nature and belongs to education to necessarily. Why the earth rotates? Why the apple always falls down? What exactly is electricity? Many such questions have been asked not only children but also the physicist who discovered gravity, gravity or relativity theory. Many of these discoveries has changed our understanding of our world fundamentally. The sun was the center of the planetary system, so Copernicus discovered that the planets revolved around the sun.
Many of the prehistoric discoveries shook the hitherto existing world view and it even happened, that these scientists as a heretic and excommunicated from the designated church. But the curiosity of the people was not to suppress even this, and some wise heads, we are indebted today is that we can drive a car, the weather predicting, or can communicate via telephone and internet. The who's who of the physicist Archimedes developed the law of leverage, which not only laid the foundation stone for the mechanics but also for the statics. Einstein may have been immortalized with his theory of relativity, even if only a few can really explain and know what lies behind it.
But other names deserve attention. Isaac Newton, we have to thank for example, the realization that light consists of many particles, but even that can attract masses: This led to the gravitation, which marks a milestone in physics. And all thanks to the Newton fortunate fact that it is an apple fell on his head. Without Galileo, we would have no thermometer. Fahrenheit is now a widely used measure of temperature, but also a physicist hides behind it. The later the discoveries were made, the more specific they were. Soon the principles of physics had matured to the point that many discoveries related to industrialization. Here inventions have contributed to technological progress. Werner Siemens have invented the dynamo, which we find today is still on bicycles. And what would we do in medicine, but without Wilhelm Rontgen? Bohr was an expert in the field of atoms and developed the atomic model. Rutherford discovered some of the components of atoms, such as the proton and neutron. Today, the discoveries have been sharply reduced and there are rarely the focus of individual researchers. Whole lot more research institutes are charged with the sense of physics to investigate further.
